Your project
A clear path.
A considered choice.
A good replacement project starts with the right conversation. Here’s how to move from the first photos to a proposal you can review.

A little clarity before the first conversation
Make a plan.
At your own pace.
Four small steps turn your ideas into a useful project checklist. No contact details, signup, or instant-price promises.
Before you request an estimate, note these four things:
- Which windows you’re considering and a rough count.
- What you’d most like to improve.
- Whether you prefer an opening window, fixed glass, or a mix.
- Your city or ZIP, so AWI can confirm service.
The guided planner needs JavaScript. You can still use the photo guide and project steps below.
Your starting point
A rough count is enough. Leave blank if you’re not sure.
What matters most?
This helps organize the conversation, not diagnose a window problem.
How should your windows work?
A starting preference, not a product selection. Available styles and options depend on the configuration.
Where is your project?
City or ZIP is enough; don’t include your street address. Leaving this blank means “not specified.” AWI will need to confirm service availability separately.
Nothing here is sent to AWI. Your choices stay on this page unless you choose to use the plan in an estimate. Copying the plan puts it on your device’s clipboard.
Your project, organized.
This is a conversation starter, not an estimate, diagnosis, or product recommendation.
Choosing Use this plan temporarily saves only your scope, window count, main priority, style direction, and optional city or ZIP in this browser tab. The transfer expires after 30 minutes and is cleared when applied or discarded. On the estimate page, choose Apply or Discard. Applying adds a short summary and fills empty fields; it does not send anything to AWI. No names, contact details, or photos are transferred.
Prefer to start fresh? Open an estimate request, or copy only the details you choose.
Clear your choices and start again?
1. Begin with your home.
Tell us which windows you want to replace and what you would like to improve. Share your project location, approximate window count, and priorities.
2. Share your photos.
Send exterior views of your home, closer photos of the windows you want to replace, and any approximate sizes you have. AWI will review your information and follow up with an estimate.
3. Review your estimate.
AWI will outline the selected windows, quantities, finish, installation scope, pricing, and applicable terms. Ask questions or request adjustments so the proposal reflects your project.
4. See the window. Finalize the details.
If the pricing meets your expectations, we’ll be happy to arrange a home visit, show you a window sample, answer your questions, and review the agreement for signature when you’re ready.
Final measurements, product selections, and installation conditions must be confirmed before windows are ordered. AWI will explain what verification your project requires.
5. Prepare for installation.
After the agreement and required project details are confirmed, AWI will coordinate the next steps and installation timing with you. We’ll discuss access to the windows, furniture and coverings, pets, and any special site considerations.
From ideas to a clear next step
Let’s talk about your home.
Start with your location, a window count, and a few photos. We’ll discuss the details that shape your project.
